 Detailed Home Type Descriptions

• Single Detached: A stand-alone building with a single residence that is not attached to any other residences.
  • Bungalow: A residence with a single level above ground.
  • Split Level: A residence with staggered floor levels, typically featuring two short sets of stairs: one to the basement and one to the upper/bedroom level.
  • 2 Storey: A residence with two full floors above ground level.
  • 3 Storey: A residence with three full floors above ground level.
• Semi-Detached: A building or set of buildings that share at least one wall. Each residence has their own private entrance.
  • Row House/Side-by-Side/Townhouse: A residence that is attached to others in a row. None are stacked on top of each other.
  • Duplex/Fourplex/Multiplex: A building with multiple residences, but private entrances.
• Apartment Block: A building with multiple residences, and a shared entrance.
